day twenty-one ... pastel ...

Pastels are in my life a lot more these days, and not just because it's summer and Oregon is bursting with color. My baby girl is eighteen months old and now not only are her clothes a rainbow of pastels, but her toys as well--baby dolls, castles, and princesses. Soft pinks and purples, lime greens, and glitter.

As I viewed the pastel lovelies from day twenty-one of our Instagram photo challenge, I was struck by nostalgia for my girlhood days. For all of that soft-bright beauty.
