Now that the chaos of December is behind us, it’s time to get ready for the next winter holiday, Valentine’s Day. Love and romance are themes that photographers capture beautifully. Here are some ideas to get your shop ready for Valentine’s Day.

Be Mine by Nelou Zikas

Think about relevant search words, such as flowers, heart, love, romance, sweet, arrow, poem, pink, red and valentine. Tag items appropriately.

Have any his-and-hers or couples-related photography? Many people get engaged on February 14th. Personalized items are also popular, with names, words or a significant date.

Consider offering cards, if you don’t already. Other gift items, especially jewelry, are also big sellers this time of year.

Create a treasury with a Valentine’s Day theme. Try to include a few items from FPOE team members, but try to maintain a variety to increase your chances of making the front page.
